Creating Desktop shortcuts using command line in Linux

I concerned with linux from last 6-7 years, in my early years of linux i am

going through Redhat Linux , Fedora,Redhat Linux 4-5.Now at this time

I am using latest Ubuntu 10.10,It is very user friendly,if you have a internet

connection with your pc or laptop.Enjoy  It easily and good support.

Quick and easy way to creating command line shortcuts using KDE 4.2

Follow the Procedure:

/usr/share/applications/  and /usr/share/applications/kde 4 contains all shortcut files(*.Desktop).Just copy whatever you want to ~/Desktop.Thats it.
